Creating home screen shortcut - Android This article will walk you through adding a shortcut for the Mileage Tracker web app to your home screen on your Android phone. If you have any questions or issues, please email support@alliancebeverage.com to create a Help Desk ticket. The process on Android is mostly the same no matter what browser you use, but instructions and screenshots are included for Chrome and Firefox. Open the Mileage Tracker web page (https://mileage.alliancebeverage.com). Once the page is open, tap the three dots in the top-right, then tap the Add to Home Screen button. Chrome Firefox Here is where Chrome and Firefox differ slightly. Chrome: Chrome will give you two options: "Install" and "Create Shortcut". Choose Create Shortcut. On the "Create Shortcut" screen, tap Add. Firefox:Firefox will give you one "Add to home screen" option. Tap Add. On the "Add to Home screen" window, you have two options. You can either tap Add and it will add the shortcut to the home screen, likely at the end of the first available page (option A), or you can tap and hold on the icon and drag it to wherever you want on your home screen (option B). If you just tap Add you can still move it to somewhere else on your home screen later. It will add an icon to your home screen, with either a Chrome or Firefox logo in the corner.
