Creating home screen shortcut - iPhone
This article will walk you through adding a shortcut for the Mileage Tracker web app to your home screen on your iPhone. If you have any questions or issues, please email support@alliancebeverage.com to create a Help Desk ticket.
The process on iPhone is mostly the same no matter what browser you use, but instructions and screenshots are included for Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
- Open the Mileage Tracker web page (https://mileage.alliancebeverage.com). Once the page is open, tap the Share button. The location of the button varies between browsers.
- Safari
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Once you hit the Share button the rest of the steps are the same. When the Share window pops up, scroll down and tap on the Add to Home Screen option.
- On the next screen, it will auto-populate the name as Mileage Tracker. You can change it if you'd like; otherwise, tap Add.
- It will add an icon to the first available open spot on your home screen. Tapping the icon will open the web page in your default web browser. You can also move the icon anywhere on any of your home screens, like any other app icon. It will also come up in Spotlight Search (swiping down on the home screen to search your entire phone) like any other app would.
