Pairing a Granit Scanner to Surface Tablet
Turn the scanner on... usually a trigger pull does that.
Next, scan the below barcode.
Next, set the scanner in its cradle to link them together. It will sing a little song while it does that. Once the music stops, you may take it back out of the cradle and continue scanning the next two barcodes in order.
You may then proceed pairing the scanner to the tablet
Open Settings> Bluetooth & Devices (or similar)> Add device (+) sign
Now you should see Granit_1981i followed by serial number and it will say Ready to Pair
Tap on the device name, and it will pair to the tablet
The Granit will make a quick beep and be connected. It will then auto load the necessary driver.
After the Granit loads its software, it will show as connected.
Scan the barcode below so the Granit adds the word “SCAN” to the beginning of each bar code, necessary to work correctly in eoWarehouse.
Lastly, this thing, by default, is LOUD! Scan the below QR code to enable daytime mode; which is much easier on the ears.
That is it, you have completed the setup of a Granite scanner to a WMS tablet. Note that once a scanner is linked to a tablet, it must stay with that tablet.
