Issues with VPN Username and Password
If you're having trouble logging into Alliance VPN and see a message that says your username or password is incorrect, this guide can help you fix it. This usually happens when the computer remembers old login details or after you've updated your password.
1. Click on the Windows Start Menu at the bottom of your screen. In the search bar, type "VPN settings" and open it.
2. You'll see a list of VPNs. Click on "Alliance VPN," and then click "Advanced options."
3. Click the button that says "Clear sign-in info."
4. Go to your network settings, which you can find at the bottom-right corner of your taskbar. Look for "Alliance VPN" and click "Connect."
5. A login screen will appear. Use the same username and password you use to log into your computer. Your username is everything before the "@" symbol in your Alliance email address.
6. After entering your login details, you'll get a prompt on your Microsoft Authenticator app asking you to allow access. Once you do, you should be connected to Alliance VPN.
Still Having Issues?
If you've followed these steps and still can't log in, or if the problem returns, it might help to restart your computer. Then, try steps 4 and 5 again.
